I wanted a way to be more at home with my family

My name is Takahiro Ogawa and I’m from Tosashimizu City, Kochi prefecture, Japan.

In the past I worked as an administrative officer at a local hospital, however I wanted a way to be more at home with my family. Today the internet infrastructure and logistic channels in many countries are established better than ever, and online sellers are now able to reach out to consumers in various countries outside Japan. So in 2013 I started working from home as an international online seller, mainly exporting Japanese products to the USA, Europe and China via online marketplaces.

By last September, the sales turnover reached $1,500,000 (180000000JPY). This was after about a year and a half, since starting the export business. Through Payoneer, payments arrive in my account very fast. I think this is the biggest benefit of using Payoneer. I currently receive my sales proceeds in USD and EURO currencies. Usually when I make a request to send the funds to my bank account in Japan, Payoneer transfers the funds next day. If I have any issues, I can immediately get support from Japanese staff.

Thanks to Payoneer, I am able to concentrate on growing my business, and I also have the time to spend at home with my family. Payoneer actually helped me to establish my own export business. Without Payoneer, my business would not exist!
