I am Jams Capili, the founder of Virtualists Business Solutions (VBS).
My journey began in 2012, when I joined a start-up BPO company from Irvine, California. Starting as a collection agent, I rose through the ranks to become COO of the company. Under my leadership, the company expanded rapidly doubling in size from a hundred employees, and branching out to a much bigger office in Ortigas Center.
With a strong commitment to work ethics and leading by example, I offered safety and stability to both my clients and employees. During my term, I emphasized the importance of a positive working environment. Employees were listened to, treated fairly and afforded the necessary training – which resulted in an effective and productive operation.
I wanted to create more opportunities for filipino workers that would give them the best training and inspire them to grow personally and professionally.
In 2014, I left to pursue my dream of establishing my own company. I envisioned a company with cultural dynamics that better suited me. Subscribing to the adage that a “happy worker is productive worker,” I wanted to create more opportunities for Filipino workers that would give them the best training and inspire them to grow personally and professionally. So I started off with my own center and failed initially. It was definitely not a walk in the park, with tons of setbacks and things to consider at that time.
With lots of hard work and perseverance, I was presented another opportunity and formally launched Virtualists Business Solutions in September 2016 with three agents reporting to my “home-office”. Presently, the company has grown to over 50 agents, and the growth continues. We are now building a team in Baguio City.
At VBS, clients are assured of better direction and better focus. The VBS team works hard to provide every customers with excellent service. They strive to understand the client’s need and acknowledge that “understanding” is the key to deliver a better solution.
At the beginning, VBS was using a different online payment platform and we encountered the following problems:
